You’ll find my work in the July 2012 issue of five different publications, and I’ll start things off with Mac|Life, where I’m a contributing editor. I was asked to write the “$50 iTunes Card” piece this month on 18, where I picked about $50 worth of digital content you can purchase with an iTunes gift card and wrote about it. I picked Adventure Time and Saves the Day’s latest album, among others. Yeah. I edited the App|Life section found on pages 52-56 and wrote my Editors’ Pick (which accompanies my photo) on 53, as well as the half-page review of Burnout Crash and quarter-pager on Circadia on 54. I also edited the Mac game review of Ticket to Ride on page 77.

In the July issue of Official Xbox Magazine, I wrote the two-page review of Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition on pages 68-69, as well as the tiny review of Level Up: The Movie on DVD on page 93. The issue of @Gamer this month is actually the July/August issue, as they double-up twice a year, and for this one I wrote a one-page preview of Dance Central 3 (which I caught at E3) on page 43, as well as a one-page review of Resistance: Burning Skies for PlayStation Vita on 77.

Over in PlayStation: The Official Magazine, I wrote a one-page news story on page 11 about the latest run of the GT Academy (Gran Turismo) competition, followed by another about Rock Band Blitz on page 20. And in the July issue of Nintendo Power, I have a one-page news/preview piece on LEGO The Lord of the Rings: The Video Game on 23, as well as a brief piece on a large plush Game Boy made by Chicago’s own Steff Bomb on page 94.
